Andrew and Carla are a married couple who lived in Japan for 16 years as English teachers, teaching in universities, schools and language schools. Since returning to the UK in 2015, Andrew has been teaching English and academic skills at the University of Surrey, INTO City University London and Manchester University. Carla is a primary school teacher. We both have certificates in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL). Andrew also has an MA in Applied Linguistics. Our hobbies are walking, cooking, gardening, running and yoga. We are both qualified yoga teachers. We have two cats called Basil and Spider, and a dog called Daphne.
